Bio-Sanitation Systems

For our inland Self Sufficient Living Projects we use the latest Bio-Sanitation Systems. The two horizontal or vertical models most frequently used are 3,500 litres designed for the constant use of up to 12 People living/occupying the property at any one time. Models start from 1,500 litres for a family of 4 to 18,000 litres for up to 60 people.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These compact tanks strategically sited and are buried in a specially prepared brick or reinforced concrete excavation.

The Biological Filter System treats the waste to the level that the recycled water when drained into a separate tank or container can be safely reused in the garden.

 

Upon completion a lock-up inspection hatch is placed over the opening positions.

 

 

 

 

Legal Compliance
These Bio-Sanitation systems comply with "Reglamento del Dominio Publico Hidráulico, Real Decreto 849/1986", thus, in compliance with Local Authority and National regulations as set down by the Ministry of the Interior.

 

Maintenance is a simple annual cleaning process, using a high pressure water cleaner.
