A ndalucia, 87,591 kmē, has a population of 7,850,000.  This is 18% of Spain's population, making Andalucia the largest of Spain's Autonomous Communities.

Traditionally the majority had bought on the coast. But overbuilding, traffic, noise and high prices have left many purchasers and investors looking for the real Spain. The authentic, rural, inland white washed villages.

The Andalucian region stretches right across southern Spain. We have identified an area of natural beauty, where we reform old period cottages and rehabilitate old ruined farmhouses located west of Granada. Within its boundaries lie majestic mountain ranges and olive groves, hilltop towns, beautiful villages, and magnificent country side. The City of Granada is 30 mins away and Granada Airport 20 mins.

The landscape is varied and often breathtaking, communications are excellent and the people are friendly and relaxed.

 

T hese cortijos are special and unique. Why special? Because it is very unusual to find any of these old detached farm houses (cortijos) with land, independent access, and water included in the Deed of Title.

Reason - Historically they were either built illegally or never publicly registered and thus, even if you can see it physically, on paper there is no record. Therefore the property does not exist!

Authentic Rural Cortijos Each of the cortijo projects have an escritura (freehold deed of title) identifying the existence of a freehold dwelling.

Each property or finca has its own individual land parcel, which has been independently topographically studied by a technical engineer identifying and determining its boundaries, in a legalized plan.

Each has had a project to reform and rehabilitate drafted and submitted to the official college of Architects or Technical Architects in Granada, which has been legally passed and stamped.

Each has been granted a license to rehabilitate by the Town Hall Architect's Office in the Municipal of Montefrio (Granada).

They have been designed to be equally in harmony with nature... with no more electricity bills... How?
